THE SON — REVISITED IN 2026
Originally recorded in 2013, The Son was created during one of the most difficult periods of my life, while my son David was waiting for his second surgery.
The music grew from improvisation, silence, noise and atmosphere — electric guitars transformed into textures, bowed mandoline, gamelan and the voices of Lenka Dusilová and India Czajkowska.
Thirteen years later, I returned to the original recordings.
Rather than simply remastering the album, I rebuilt the mix in a three-dimensional sound space. Voices, guitars, noises and ambient textures can now exist around the listener, revealing a different perspective on the original recordings.
